VIDEO: Father Learns His Fate After Confronting Man Accused of Harming His Young Daughter

The child was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Meanwhile, the father was not immediately charged. Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon described.

Him as “very remorseful” and referred the case to a grand jury due to the sensitive and complex nature of the situation.

Authorities noted that Texas law allows for the use of force, including deadly force, in situations involving the protection of others from severe harm.

District Attorney Heather McMinn confirmed this, stating: “Deadly force is permitted and justified under Texas law to prevent aggravated acts against a person.”
