Voice actor for the Ninja Turtles Peter Renaday, 89, has passed away.

 

Over the course of almost six decades, Peter had enormous success in a number of movies, TV series, and video games.

Peter’s most well-known role was that of Master Splinter in the 1987 animated “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series, which aired until the series’ 1996 conclusion.

Later, for the spoken portions of the live-action “TMNT: Coming Out of Their Shells” concert event that was taped at Radio City Music Hall in 1990, he returned to the character of Splinter.
