Wally Amos, the creator of the renowned Amos Cookies, has passed away at the age of 88.

 

Wally sought to establish himself as the brand’s spokesperson by frequently traveling to promote his delectable confections. Nevertheless,

he encountered financial difficulties as a result of the company’s accelerated expansion and ultimately sold his shares in the business to the Shansby Group for $3 million in 1988.

Nevertheless, Wally’s reputation endured and he was featured in the mainstream media. He also made appearances in sitcoms such as “The Jeffersons,” “Taxi,” and “The Office.”
