Chip Gaines, who shot to fame on the hit program “Fixer Upper,” has learned to keep things in perspective.
Gaines remembered the moment he recognized that fame had become too much for him to handle. His new book, “No Pain, No Gaines,” is now available.

Gaines, his wife Joanna, and their family were visiting a flea market when the incident happened. Their youngest kid,
Duke, was still ten yards ahead of Gaines when he wandered off one day. But many flocked to the scene, excited to see him up close.
