Covid-19, flu, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and norovirus (the “vomiting bug”) are the four horsemen of the 2024 holiday season, according to the UKHSA (UK Health Security Agency).
The latter three ailments have caused a massive increase in numbers in the last week alone, according to statistics issued by the health agency.
Additionally, the NHS also said earlier this year that the majority of coronavirus-infected individuals will suffer from “mild to moderate respiratory illness” as Christmas draws near.
