His passing occurred during a difficult moment for his family, who had just moved to South Bay after losing their home in the Palisades fire.
The community was very saddened by the unexpected loss, according to a tribute posted by the athletic department at Loyola High School.
The message said, “We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of senior Braun Levi of Loyola High School.”
He was a well-liked part of the Loyola community because of his endless energy, contagious grin, and endearing demeanor. We will miss him terribly; he was a real Man for and With Others. Braun, you are loved.
In a message to employees and students, Loyola High School Principal Jamal Adams reiterated the sentiment.
“Braun was a bright light in our Loyola household. inspiring, cheering, and illuminating everyone he came into contact with,” Adams stated.
