“What a beast!” A hiker discovered a large snake close to a South Carolina waterway.

Florence, South Carolina — While trekking by a stream in South Carolina, a lady was shocked to see a large snake concealed close to the water’s edge.

According to The State of Columbia, Meredith Langley posted pictures of the reptile on Facebook after taking them Tuesday at Jeffries Creek Park in Florence.

“Observe how seamlessly he fits in with his environment,” Langley said in her piece. She remarked, “This was a great opportunity to teach and set.

An example for my own kids who forget not to run ahead of me on trails.” On the social networking platform, the message was shared by over 1,000 users and garnered dozens of comments.

One person remarked, “I ain’t going on no trails period,” adding, “He’s probably swa|lowed somebody child already.” “What a beast!” someone other wrote.
