A severely injured teenage girl arrived at a police station and reported that she had been brutally assaulted by a group she identified as an “Asian grooming gang.”
However, the situation took a shocking turn when she was later charged with seven counts of “perverting the course of justice.”
When 19-year-old Ellie Williams entered the Cumbria Police station, her injuries were so extensive that she was nearly unrecognizable.
She was covered in bruises and cuts and claimed she had been beaten, burned, drugged, and held captive for years by a coordinated group of men of Pakistani origin in northern England, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Ellie stated that she provided authorities with names, addresses, and detailed allegations of severe mistreatment by the group.
