Trump said in an interview with TIME that he would investigate the rioters’ cases within “the first nine minutes” of his presidency.
“I am inclined to pardon many of them,” Trump said in a tweet that was posted on his social media channel. Since a few of them most likely went out of control, I am unable to speak for all of them.
