She added, and she has been “blabbing” about it all on Facebook since creating a Facebook event. She also said that 25 invites were sent to those who are elderly or don’t use social media.
One user responded that she didn’t know why so many people had bailed when she asked what excuses they had heard from those who failed to show up.
“I haven’t gotten many texts explaining why folks weren’t present. Nobody making excuses for me, and I’m grateful for that,” she said.
“For the most part, we’ve done a lot of deleting and re-evaluating our lives and just spending a lot of time appreciating what we have and what we had,” Kalina said.
