When Lasik eye surgery goes wrong, a police officer has a tragic ending.

After experiencing problems following Lasik eye surgery, a police officer in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, took his own life.

In August 2024, 26-year-old Officer Ryan Kingerski was scheduled for the standard treatment when a terrible incident occurred, according to a story on April 23 from Pittsburgh’s WTAE-TV.

“It simply It destroyed his life. ruined it. About the event, Ryan’s father, Tim Kingerski, stated, “It completely ruined his life in 12 seconds.”

Kingerski suffered from crippling headaches, double vision, floaters, and high sensitivity following the procedure.

He continued to express how excruciating his head pain was. Kingerski told CBS News, “He had a terrible headache and couldn’t focus, and the vision and the blurriness and everything else — and that just continued.”

Officer Kingerski once shared his story on social media. He was apparently dismissed as a patient by the clinic shortly after.
