For her twelfth concert tour, Madonna has enlisted the help of creative director Lewis James and musical director Stuart Price to put on a stunning stage production that pays tribute to her career spanning four decades.
Bob the Drag Queen, winner of Season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, was chosen by Madonna to begin her concerts instead of a band or performer.
According to USA Today, Madonna has a history of health problems, including knee and hip issues, which caused her to postpone 14 gigs on her Madame X Tour in 2019 and 2020.
Nevertheless, she continues to push through these challenges. Despite the continued coronavirus epidemic, Madonna had knee and hip surgeries in 2020 and regenerative therapy for “missing cartilage,” as reported in the Mirror.
In the near future, Madonna will be directing a biography for Universal Pictures called Little Sparrow, which will star Julia Garner, an actress who has won three Emmys.
After working on the screenplay with Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar, Madonna brought on Erin Wilson, who won an Independent Spirit Award, to finish writing the script. The movie will go into Madonna’s remarkable life and work.
