Sadly, dos Santos had already passed away by the time her casket was reopened on February 9, 2018, and even though she had been brought to the hospital, her body was pronounced dead and she was buried the next day.
When the casket was opened, it was discovered that dos Santos’s body had turned inside.
Her family had been informed by neighbors living close to the cemetery about the spooky noises they were hearing from her tomb.
The Daily Mail reported that the woman had wounds on her wrists and forehead from struggling to escape the tomb, and that cotton wool that had been in her nostrils and ears had come out.
