Derek found a folded piece of paper inside the bag that had the address “Hostess Family” written on it. He arrived at the scene without any delay.
When she got there, a lady at the door verified that Amber had never been there. Derek decided to return home since he was feeling overwhelmed.
While driving, he discovered Miranda, his ex-wife, at a coffee shop. Derek suspected Amber could have come to visit Miranda, so he went up to her.
She first denied knowing anything about the incident, but she later acknowledged knowing everything when Derek found Amber’s inhaler in her luggage.
Derek followed Amber as she left the room after she overheard their conversation. He saw her crying on a bench and they were able to patch things up.
