According to authorities, a 52-year-old Florida woman was recently taken into custody for intentionally purchasing and reselling human bones online.
The Orange City Police Department said Kymberlee Anne Schopper of Deltona was accused of dealing in human tissue.
On a $7,500 bond, Schopper was released from the Volusia County Jail on Friday.
According to Report, police were notified on December 21, 2023, that a local company was selling human bones on Facebook Marketplace.
Images from the company’s Facebook page, which purportedly promoted the unsettling products, were forwarded to officers.
