Stahle’s confession had the audience in stitches. One person exclaimed, “This is SO FUNNY,” while another said, “I’m on the floor [laughing].”
Others did not hesitate to divulge their own agonizing errors. One wrote: “My name is Cora, and up to the age of 25, mine signed “Cora Cora Cora the explora.” I practice law.”
Another wrote: “The name of my iPhone was “horses are strong” and I went through so many zooms in school, work, etc before my therapist finally told me that’s the name that shows up on the zoom screen” .
Stahle cautioned other people: “Take this as a cautionary tale to just double-check your Gmail settings and make sure that your auto signature is what you would like it to be.”
