His female accomplice went for the teen’s face while the man bit down hard on Jessica’s left hand as the fight intensified and she struggled to defend herself.
Witnesses did nothing but watch as the woman broke Jessica’s nose in the end.
Jessica claimed that she approached two males standing close by for assistance, but they declined. “They simply observed,” she said to WBBM.
“I think people simply don’t want to get involved.” Since no one intervened to protect the youngster, her attackers fled, leaving just the victim’s description and shaky surveillance film to identify them.
“I hope that video has everything they need,” Jessica remarked. “And they are able to apprehend those responsible for this to me.”
