The identities of the three kids slain in the Southport knife attack at a dance lesson with a Taylor Swift motif have been revealed.
Police were summoned to a dancing class with a Taylor Swift theme at the Hope of Hart Children’s club on Hart Street, Southport, on Monday, July 29, in response to claims of a “ferocious” knife assault.
While they continue to look for a motive, police have announced that they have detained a 17-year-old kid in connection with the incident.
The Home Department’s Secretary of State, Yvette Cooper, said to reporters on Tuesday that “this was a horrific attack,
and there is a serious criminal investigation underway.” Investigating every possibility is crucial, and Merseyside Police are now doing just that.”
