MailOnline can confirm that Chris Martin and his fiancée Dakota Johnson have dissolved their engagement and separated permanently following a period of estrangement.
The Coldplay frontman, who began dating Dakota in 2017 and became engaged several years ago, is alleged to have “now accepted the relationship is over – and it’s best to move on.”
Last weekend, the 34-year-old American actress was photographed in Malibu, where she previously resided with the Coldplay frontman, while walking her dog. She was seen without her emerald engagement ring.
Martin, 47, is currently in Munich, Germany, on the European portion of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres world tour. Despite the fact that she has been photographed dancing at Coldplay concerts on numerous occasions, she is approximately 6,000 miles away.
In 2019, there was a brief rumored separation between the couple, which was purportedly due to his advocacy for the couple to have children. However, they soon reconciled.
