A 6-year-old girl’s passport was denied because her name was based on a character from “Game of Thrones.”

Due to her unusual name, which her parents derived from a character in Game of Thrones, a 6-year-old girl has been refused a passport.

When her daughter’s passport application was rejected because she was named after a television character, the UK mother was horrified and saddened.

Lucy told the BBC: “We were really anticipating our first vacation together, so I was devastated.” When she learned that her kid would not be granted.

A passport, the family was preparing for an exciting trip to Disneyland Paris—a “dream” holiday. “I received a letter from the Passport Office stating.

That Warner Brothers has a trademark on her name,” she claimed. “I was shocked because it was the first time I had heard of such a thing.”

Lucy made the decision to seek legal counsel, and the 39-year-old sent that information to the Passport Office after learning that she was indeed permitted to use the name.
