On camera, a man’s terrifying last words before he and his girlfriend were devoured by a bear

Amie Huguenard, perished in October 2003 at the hands of the animals that Treadwell loved the most: bears.

The documentary filmmaker Treadwell was known as “Grizzly Man” because of his deep love for bears.

Despite constant warnings from loved ones about the risks, he traveled to Alaska for 13 summers in a row to communicate with these creatures, believing himself to be one with them.

Tragic events occurred just before their scheduled seaplane departure. Huguenard died tragically at the hands of a grizzly after Treadwell was mauled to death by the bear.

Treadwell recorded hours of audio and video of his conversations with bears throughout their meetings.
