Haneen and Revan’s wedding day was ruined when a banqueting hall in Qaraqosh, a Christian town in northern Iraq’s Nineveh region, caught fire.
A fire disrupted the wedding, which drew 900 guests, between 10 and 10:45 p.m., when the newlyweds danced for the crowd.
The fire was first blamed on fireworks, but groom Revan told Sky News that it may have begun in the ceiling. But the ceiling caught fire.
