According to reports, a tragic series of events occurred as 55-year-old Dmitry Ukhin was looking for his lost cat, Styopka, in the Kirishi district in the Leningrad region of Russia.
Dmitry discovered his cherished cat after two days of hunting and took it home. But the cat scratched him on the leg during this reconnection, which turned out to be potentially fatal.
Dmitry was left to deal with the problem by himself since his wife, Natalya, was not home when it happened.
Dmitry called a neighbor after realizing that the cut was more severe than he had first believed and that he was afraid for his life since his condition was swiftly becoming worse.
