According to one passenger, Adriano Assis, he was supposed to take the tragic flight after his shift at the hospital, but he was late.
He was quoted by Daily Mail from an interview he gave to the Brazilian news station G1, who said that he arrived at the counter at 9:40 AM and found no agents. So, he waited and kept an eye on the departure/arrival screen to see if any aircraft information was available.
“When I decided it was already 10:30 am, there was a huge line here,” said the man. I patiently waited till about 10:40 in the morning.
