Brian and Cathy promptly recognized him as a Cuban tree frog, a species that is classified as invasive in Florida.
Cuban tree frogs are notorious for leaving unsightly surprises in the vicinity of residences and occasionally causing problems for native wildlife. Therefore, it was not feasible to release Sinkfrog into the environment.
