The Daily Mail quoted an interview the Maleficent actress had with 60 Minutes years later, during which she recounted that heartbreaking period of her life.
“I had tougher, darker moments, but I made it through them. I’m fortunate in that I didn’t pass away young. Other artists and individuals didn’t make it through certain situations.
At the time, she said, “I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst.” I shouldn’t be here for a variety of reasons.
You recall the far too many instances in which you approached too many risky situations or took too many risks.”
