After days of searching, the body of the grandma who fell into a Pennsylvania sinkhole was found.

According to Limani, troopers discovered an apparent sinkhole nearby while looking for Pollard, with an opening around the “size of a manhole” 15 to 20 feet from the car.

To get access to the sinkhole, an excavation crew collaborated with the state’s Bureau of Mine Safety, local firemen, and a technical rescue team to remove soil.

Although the water used to break up the earth affected the mine’s integrity, search personnel managed to enter the mine area throughout the search, according to Limani. He said that sections of the mine began to give way and fall apart.

Due to the risk of collapse, crews ceased visiting the mine on Wednesday, and the search was shifted to cameras.

Limani informed reporters Thursday that her cat, Pepper, has not been located during the hunt for Pollard. According to Pollard, his family has not seen the cat either.
