The Smiths have not yet indicated that they intend to pursue legal action; however, the restaurant chain is currently facing numerous lawsuits regarding the outbreak.
McDonald’s has previously stated that the cases were “devastating.”
A spokesperson further stated, “We are aware that the well-being of our customers is of the utmost importance to us, and we are aware that individuals and families have been significantly affected.”
