She tested negative for a stroke, which worried her chiropractor, but she chose not to go to the hospital despite two people’s advice. She was unable to walk properly.
After spending many hours at the chiropractor’s, so her companion assisted her in getting home. The chiropractor also issued her a letter advising her to see the hospital if her condition worsened.
The 29-year-old was diagnosed with a migraine after an ambulance was summoned and she was examined for indications of a stroke.
She was ‘gravely unwell’ the next day, and paramedics took her to the hospital, where she passed away on October 19, 2021. According to a representative for the General Chiropractic Council,
“We expect chiropractors to provide high-quality, patient-centered, safe, and effective care that is in line with the current standards for good healthcare practice.”
“We will be giving careful thought to the significant issues brought up by the coroner in her report and will address her directly.”
