An employee explained what seemed to happen when Serena Williams said she and her children were denied entry to a Parisian restaurant.

A Parisian restaurant was openly accused by Serena Williams on Monday of refusing her and her children entry.

Serena, her husband Alexis Ohanian, and their children Adira River, eleven months, and Alexis Olympia Jr., six, are all in Paris for the 2024 Olympics.

The Peninsula Hotel is a Michelin-starred facility; Serena said on X (previously Twitter) that the hotel “denied” her and her family a table even though the restaurant was vacant.

“Oh no! InselParis Even when the restaurant was vacant, I was still not allowed to dine on the rooftop with my children. 🙄#Olympic2024,” Serena tweeted on Monday, emphasizing that she is always first.

Greetings, Mrs. Williams, For the letdown you experienced before, please accept our sincerest apologies.
