Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have spoken up about the widely shared interview tape that has come to symbolize the Wicked press tour.

She went on clumsily, “That’s really powerful,” while Grande nodded solemnly and clutched one of her costar’s fingers. The actresses now discuss the very awkward moment in a new Variety video.
