Team GB’s Adam Peaty has made shocking allegations about ‘cheating’ athletes and directed vicious remarks at the Paris Olympics authorities.
It seems like British swimmer Adam Peaty questioned China’s 4×100 meter medley relay triumph and genuinely spoke what’s on his mind about his return to the Olympics.
The New York Times found that 23 Chinese swimmers, including gold medalists Qin Haiyang and Sun Jiajun, tested positive with the prohibited drug trimetazidine before the Tokyo Olympics.
The swimmers were given the all-clear to participate on the assumption that they had accidentally consumed the substance via tainted food.
Peaty came in fourth position, just behind teammates Oliver Morgan, Duncan Scott, and Matt Richards, who all made it onto the podium.
