Kelly was one of several NBC broadcasters present for Friday’s 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, when Celine was making her comeback performance at the Eiffel Tower.
As you are aware, Celine has been unable to perform for the past two years due to a terrible neurological condition called Stiff-Person Syndrome.
Her first performance since disclosing her illness in 2022 took place at the Olympics. As Celine was finishing off her performance of Édith Piaf’s “Hymne A L’Amour,”
She became a little emotional and started crying, which made Kelly start the waterworks as well.
Reminding everyone of Dion’s serious health issues.
