According to an angry post that Halsey almost quickly removed, accusing her of stabbing Britney Spears in the back, Halsey’s new song “Lucky” is not a hit with the pop princess.
Britney’s professional highs and lows are depicted in the new music video, which was directed by Gia Coppola and features Halsey in a virtually nude role as the pop princess. There’s also a sample of Britney Spears’ song of the same name in the song.

Within hours of the video’s release, Britney, who has over 54 million followers on X, attacked Halsey for making her feel “harassed, violated, and bullied.”
