Including a former judge who was well-known for locking up thousands of children for bribes, were among the almost 1,500 offenders whose sentences Biden reduced last week.
Biden reduced the sentence of Luzerne County Judge Michael Conahan, one of two judges found guilty in 2011 for his involvement in the “Kids for Cash” scam.
Conahan and another judge made millions of dollars by sending kids to private prisons in which they had a stake.

The unjustly imprisoned Amanda Lorah told Fox 59 that it was a “slap in the face.” Sandy Fonzo, whose son killed himself after being detained, expressed her astonishment and sadness.
