Considering Pitt is a genuine A-list star, the creators of Deadpool 2 knew he could pick and choose the parts that would make him happy.
After that, Reynolds used his A-list connections to contact Pitt, hoping to get a brief cameo from one of the industry’s most recognizable faces for his next picture.
“Brad Pitt said he’d do it if Ryan personally delivered a cup of coffee from Starbucks, right?” Reynolds was questioned by Deadpool 2 co-writer Rhett Reese after the film’s release.
In a way exaggerated. I asked, “Is it like a franchise or just one individual cup of coffee?” when I was informed that all he wants is a cup of coffee.
Plus, he encouraged me to drink only one cup of coffee, which was his way of expressing, “I’m not doing this for anything.” And that was the most selfless act anybody could have done,” Reynolds said.
