“My parents were amazed that I would be working with her, but that was about all the information I knew about her.
“The first question I asked her when we met was, ‘Would you like me to call you Dame?'” This was because I also knew that she was a Dame.
She chuckled and said, “Don’t be ridiculous!” at that point. “I recall being anxious when I first met her, but she quickly put me at ease.
“She was incredibly kind to me on that shoot, and then I was lucky enough to go on working with her for another 10 years on the ‘Harry Potter’ films.”
He continued, saying: “She had a brilliant tongue, a ferocious intellect, the ability to seduce and frighten at the same time, and, as everyone can attest, a great sense of humor.
