Daniel Radcliffe honors Maggie Smith, his co-star in Harry Potter, who passed away at the age of 89.

 

“I will always feel really fortunate to have had the opportunity to collaborate with her and hang out with her on set. Although the term “legend” is overused, she fits the description if it applies to anybody in our field.

“I’m grateful, Maggie.” The late, famous performer has received an abundance of tributes. Her sons, Toby Stephens and Chris Larkin, released a statement announcing her passing.

“We have to announce the death of Dame Maggie Smith with great sadness,” they stated. She died quietly this morning, Friday, September 27, in the hospital.

“An intensely private person, she was with friends and family at the end.”She leaves behind two sons and five devoted grandkids who are inconsolable at the passing of their remarkable grandma and mother.

Not only Radcliffe, the star of Harry Potter, paid homage to Smith. The actor Bonne Wright, who portrayed Ginny Weasley in the film series, posted on social media, saying,
