Travelers in the United States have been shaken by yet another terrifying airline tragedy. This time, two planes crashed on the runway at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
A representative for Delta tells TMZ… When Delta Flight 1921 from Vancouver landed for a stopover on Wednesday morning, it collided with a Japan Airlines aircraft that was taxiing.
The representative said that when the Delta aircraft, a Boeing 737 with 142 passengers on board, collided with the wing tip of the other aircraft, it was in the process of de-icing. No crew or passenger injuries have been reported as of yet.
An apology has been issued by the airline “for the experience and delay in travels.” Customers were reportedly moved to a different plane,
And Delta intends to collaborate with all aviation stakeholders to look into what caused the event. The right wing of Japan Airlines Flight 68 collided.
