Denis Law, a former football player for Manchester United and Scotland, passes away at age 84.

Law received the 1964 Ballon d’Or award, becoming him the only player from Scotland to have won it. Fans have been posting tributes to the football player on social media in droves.

FourFourTwo editor Andy Mitten said that Brian Kidd, a former teammate of Man U, also expressed his sympathy.

Mitten posted an homage to the former striker-turned-coach on X, saying, “He was slight, with the heart of a lion.” He scored every kind of goal and was an incredible finisher.

“‘”If you’re ever wide, don’t look up and put the cross in early,” he told me. It’s my responsibility if I’m not present. He was there most of the time.

When IBM refused to offer him a wage increase, a man who had been on sick leave for 15 years filed a lawsuit.

Before labeling the trial a “misunderstanding,” the 69-year-old Bigamist explains why he married his 16-year-old stepdaughter and had children with her.
