Desperate hunt for a missing adolescent girl on the Gold Coast ends tragically

An lengthy search and rescue effort for a missing 17-year-old girl on Queensland’s Gold Coast has resulted in the recovery of a corpse.

At around 8.30am on Tuesday, the adolescent girl with a medical problem was last saw on Robina’s Bayberry Lane.

Police investigated a Carrara neighborhood ten minutes from her last known location after receiving a missing person’s complaint from her anxious relatives.

According to police on Wednesday morning, “a land search and rescue is underway in the Carrara area with assistance from SES crews and members of the public.”

At the AFL facility on Nielsens Road in Carrara, a command post has been established. “Any public members who would like to help with the search are asked to meet there.”

The kid was previously described as being Caucasian, with green eyes, blonde hair, and a height of about 178 cm. Because of a medical problem, her family and the police expressed worry for her well-being.
