Diane remembered having a “feeling” that something had occurred the day her family was arrested and then deported to Colombia.

“I made many calls to my folks. We were organizing Springfest at the time, so I was particularly happy to go home from school since.

I attended a performing arts high school. Everybody was receiving their roles and singing sections. Since this was my first year, I was ecstatic to share it with them,” she told CNN.
