Eminem clarified his “dissed” state. Chris Reeve forty-four times so far

“He used to be like a hero to me, I even believe I had one of those 25-cent stickers on my refrigerator, right next to Darth Vader.”

While the majority of the lyrics honor the Superman actor or mention him as one of his boyhood idols, several of Eminem’s songs have drawn criticism for seeming to be critical of the late actor.

He raps, “Put Christopher Reeve on a unicycle with a kickstand, kick it up and push him and lead him right into quicksand,” in the 2009 song “Medicine Ball,” as one instance.

“Big man, do you need a hand here?” Eminem attempted to emulate Reeve’s voice on the single before saying, “Always hated you, and I still do.”

In the end, Reeve’s name may be overused more since it makes for an easy rhyme and has been relatively easy for Eminem to use into his songs.
