First time Freddie Flintoff addresses the ‘life-changing’ Top Gear disaster

Following the air ambulance rush of the former cricketer turned broadcaster to the hospital, the BBC announced that they will be “resting” Top Gear for the time being.

Even though he has refrained from discussing the terrifying accident he was in, Flintoff has made public appearances since then.

The preview for Field of Dreams On Tour builds up the journey to India before returning to Freddie, so it seems like he will be performing in that performance.

As Flintoff states in the teaser, “But something happened which changed my life forever,” suggesting that he may discuss the Top Gear disaster. ‘The tale of the most unusual cricket trip that nearly didn’t happen,’ the teaser continues.
