The winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2024, Chris McCausland, was announced live on Saturday night.
Following a tight final, the comedian and his professional dancing partner Dianne Buswell delighted and broke down in tears as they were announced as this year’s victors.
Chris was declared the winner of this series shortly after he expressed the significance of the victory to him.
Four couples were left, and their last three performances were their last chance to win. However, presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman declared live that only one pair could win.
After months of preparation and live performances, Chris and Dianne, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž �korjanec, and others all advanced to the live final.
Just one pair received the Glitterball Trophy when the results from Saturday were announced. When the results were announced, Chris and Dianne were ecstatic and embraced it right away.
