The 56-year-old former model said that she signed up for the celebrity dating app and started looking through the profiles at the request of her oldest daughter.
“I thought, ‘Oh, he’s sort of attractive,’ until I saw this one man. He’s from California, and I thought, ‘Wow, why is he here?’ “Let’s talk,” he says. “Let’s get together,” she remembered.
Bensimon said that she and “Tom” were “texting” often. Apparently, he continued begging her to get together, but she was too busy to set up a formal date.
Bensimon said that her companion texted her a Page Six item shortly after they arrived back in the city after spending Labor Day weekend in the Hamptons, but separately.
