Former porn actress Mia Khalifa discussed her autism and OCD. The 31-year-old, who was born in Lebanon but moved to the US at 11,
briefly worked in adult entertainment at 21. They made just a few X-rated films, but millions watched them online.
On adult entertainment sites, Khalifa was the most searched adult celebrity in 2016 and 2018. It propelled Khalifa into the mainstream, making her a star and influencer.
She received death threats after appearing in a hijab-wearing adult video, but Khalifa told The Washington Post in 2016 that such scenes were’satirical’ and should be viewed as such.
“There are Hollywood movies that depict Muslims in a much worse manner than any scene Bang Bros [the production company] could produce.”
