In November, the two-person ice skating team participated in the 2025 Midwestern Sectional Singles & U.S. Ice Dance in Plano, Texas. They won first place in a number of the competition’s categories.
The youngsters were in Wichita this week for the training camp with their coach, Alexandr “Sasha” Kirsanov, 46, who also perished in the fatal aircraft crash.
