‘Halloween’ Star Charles Cyphers Dies at 85 Years Old

 

” John Carpenter’s 1978 picture that launched Jamie Lee Curtis to stardom. The 1981 sequel, “Halloween II,” and the more current revival of the series both featured Charles reprising his role.

Charles worked with Carpenter on more than just the “Halloween” films; he also made appearances in “Assault on Precinct 13,” “The Fog,” and “Escape From New York.”

Charles has a long list of television credits that includes “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “ER,” “Seinfeld,” “JAG,” “Dallas,” and “Hill Street Blues,” among hundreds more.
