Up to sixteen children may have been saved because to Lucas and Barlow’s quick thinking. Nine youngsters were admitted to the hospital in spite of their extraordinary efforts,
five of them are still in serious condition. Three children have now died as a result of the injuries that one of the hospitalized children regrettably passed away from, according to an update from the police on Tuesday.
“We believe that the adults who were injured were bravely trying to protect the children who were being attacked,” Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said after commending the instructors for their bravery during the incident.
“As a mother and grandmother, I can never begin to fathom the anguish and suffering that the victims’ families are now going through.
